Personalized Gifts for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings and More.

Keeping on the theme of birthdays and what to get the person who has everything, I wanted to share something I made for Rick for his birthday (because hiring a private chef wasn’t enough).  And by “made for Rick” I mean “made for myself” secretly.  That wasn’t my intention initially but once I gave him the gift I actually just wanted to keep it and hang it on our new wall gallery (post to come on the wall gallery).

Anyways, a few weeks before his birthday I knew I wanted to use my Illustrator skills and Illustrate a killer gift for Rick.  And I knew exactly what I wanted to do.  We aren’t “song people” per se.  In other words, we don’t dance romantically in our place to the Glee Season Five Soundtrack though I wish that would happen just once (enter funny SNL skit of Kristen Wiig and Jason Sudeikis).  But, there is one song that has stuck with us since the beginning and our talented friends Joseph and Kimberly Tenney sang it for us at our wedding.  Gavin Degraw Follow Through.  Cheesy?  Maybe.  But, it’s ours and even if it is cheesy, I’m totally comfortable with that.  Gosh. I LOVE this song.

So, I made this new piece of art for Rick our house.  Which, in case you didn’t catch on, is a lyric illustration. A lyric illustration.  I just made that up.  But, you know what I mean.

Ann-ueno-designsSo, this is my personal plug for my online shop that will open soon featuring personalized prints and personalized gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, showers or for yourself.  In the meantime, if you want me to design you some awesomeness, write me a note,  respond to this post, find me on Facebook or ping me and I’m happy to get creative with you.

This is the start of something good.  Don’t you agree?

  1. Agree with Maggie, you definitely should do that, with your talent and creativity, you have no idea where it will take you! But of course, just remember us poor souls when you do get famous!!!!
